The Wanderers Car Club of New Jersey was started in 1988 by Michael Cecchini. It was agreed to by the founding members that the club would exist without formal organization. To this day, we have no president or officials of any kind. The only rule is, there are no rules!!

We have one meeting a year in early spring to plan the year's activities. At this time we ask all members for a renewal of their membership with a donation of $20.00 to cover the costs of our monthly newsletter as well as cards and flowers that we send throughout the year to members for special occasions (births, deaths, illness, etc). We publish and mail out a monthly newsletter to keep members informed of upcoming events and what's going on with everyone in the club.

Of course, our biggest pride and joy's are our old cars, and we do have some beauties. At car shows (we attend as many as we can), we ALWAYS take home a few trophies. Many of our cars have been resurrected from empty, rusting hulks to like new condition. These cars represent our past, and we believe that this history should be preserved. They just don't make cars like these anymore.
